anyone else feeling the optimism coming back?
until today, i was ready tostart packing for canada-but something suddenly makes me feel like kerry can still win this damn thing yet

-maybe it's the fact that he has carville and begala coaching him
-maybe it's that i know when voters hear the democratic position from democrats and not what FAUX and co. tell them the democratic position is, we win every time
-maybe it's the poll showing bush's ohio lead down to 2 points (and that's likely voters in a gallup poll-translation-kerry's leading inreality)
-maybe it's dumbya's wooden performance on o'reilly this week

i don't know what it is, but suddenly, i have a glimmer of hope for the first time since the swift boat liars took to the airwaves

1. We're still a long way from Kansas, Toto.
The Republicans haven't even begun to exhaust their supply of dirty tricks. You thought 2000 was bad in terms of how the Republicans slandered, lied and cheated? You ain't seen nothing yet.

2. I lost my optimism for 2 days a few weeks ago
fortunately it faded rapidly. I see the end game as Kerry in a landslide w the voters if not the BBV. The only problem I see is how we will expose the BBV, and will people awaken before another election is allowed to be stolen?

I believe We, The People, WILL.

3. I have been really depressed lately....
seems like the media is just in friggin' overdrive. Weird, though, that I still run into so many Kerry/Edwards supporters even here in Riverside CA (which proudly proclaims itself the second-biggest base of Bush supporters in CA.) Could be my Dad... good guy but just swallows Bush&co whole. It gets old after awhile, because he is pathetically ill-informed on almost ALL the issues and just runs with a "my team against theirs" mentality.

ANYWAY... COULD DEFINITELY USE SOME CHEERING UP!!!!! PERHAPS TOMORROW AT THE DEBATES!

4. I'm waiting to see about this "debate" tomorrow before I draw
a firm conclusion. But for the moment it is looking pretty good. I think the rw is starting to pee their collective pants.

6. It never was gone

The only thing Bush has going for him are Pearl Harbor and electronic voting machines.

And you really know its over when they started canceling military votes last week.

7. Also, I'm starting to realize about the polls
There's not any damn way Kerry is down 52-38 in Wisconsin as one poll being paraded all over the place says. I bet alot of those other polls with depressing results are wrong too. Kerry has come out swinging this round and this is going to be a great fight.

I was watching Hanitty and Colmes(I know, I know Shouldn't be watching crap like that) and their guest, a repub that debated Kerry in 96 said that Kerry was such a good debater, that he listens to what the other guy says and responds to it instead of just supplying canned answers and spouting talking points. We all know bush can't do that. He'll be too busy trying to get in his joke about Kerry's tan. Kerry *should* completely tear him apart. I think this could really turn tomorrow. At lest I hope so.
