TJ - The news tonight is great. Looks like Bush is gonna get back in. It would be great to introduce a compulsory geographical education to all the pitifully stupid, uneducated fucking Yanks on whose pathetically unaware shoulders the future of this planet rests.

edit - yes, I worked over 'there' for years and was astounded on a daily basis by the overwhelming stupidity of the average Yank.

you forget
that it's the stupid yanks that tell people bush will be re-elected.

the clever people get nowhere near the media.

.
and it's based primarily on polls taken over land lines.... land lines! There are more frikkin cell phone users here than cheap slappers in downtown Wigan of a Friday night. Almost noone under the age of 35 has a land line anymore.

3. Might I just say. . .
. . . as an American living abroad, most Europeans are as ignorant as Freepers when it comes to what's happening here.

They all watch the same TV, SKY News (the European equivalent of FOX and also owned by Rupert Murdoch), and get the same brainwashed effect.

I am going to have quite a nice dose of schadenfreude when the American-haters jaws drop at a considerable Kerry victory, while people here in the UK hand Blair yet another term.

4. Most Europeans??
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 05:53 AM by kerryin2004
I would have to disagree with you.. There are so many media outlets in all of Europe, and I found that those in europe were more informed about what was going on here then our media provdes to us.. Now maybe in Britain all they get is Murdoch bullshit, but the French. Dutch, and German countries(including Austria and Swiss) I found to be very well informed...

5. The rest of the world has no doubt as to where GWB's policies/actions/
wars are taking this planet and we the people have been merrily going along for the ride. Should GWB win in November by hook or crook, I just hope never to see/hear anyone complaining/bemoaning their/our fate because his past policies, including fiscal and tax, actions, and pre-emptive war should assure the most lopsided defeat of an incumbent in history by far.
