Should Teresa Heinz Kerry challenge Laura to a debate?
Not sure if this was a GD or DUL discussion so posting here until otherwised moved.
--------

I know the chances of it are rare, but I think it would be an interesting debate should it occur.

THK would win by a grand slam.

2. That's a FANTASTIC idea! I mean, they keep trotting Laura out
for her expertise on stem cells, document authentication, etc. etc., now she can show off her keen intellect to the WORLD!!!!!

3. Bad idea.
Teresa would grind her into small pieces of buffalo chips and people would end up feeling sorry for Laura.

4. Gonna have to go with those saying "bad idea"
Mrs. Clinton was clearly much smarter and more accomplished than Mrs. Bush I, and she got roasted for it. I know people who voted for Bush or Dole because they felt Mrs. Clinton had too much influence over her husband. The Russian public had a similar reaction to Raisa Gorbachev.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of humanity is still far too patriarchal to see intelligence and strength as good things when they're packaged in a female body.

5. Laura will be too busy tending to the broken shell of her husband
after John Kerry makes him his bitch tonight.

6. Judging by the Kerry Bush debate rules
The only way Laura Bush (Karl Rove) would let it happen is if Theresa Hines were trussed up like Hannibal Lector.

9. Geeezz,talk about must see TV. How great would that be?
But I'm not sure Laura would really know where Eyerack is on a map. Just like mommy in law she can't waste her beautiful mind on something so trivial.

14. I've wanted one between them too, and between, Mrs. E and Mrc. C
Odd how the Vice-couple would make for the more interesting debate, eh?
