The thread in LBN reminded me, and I think we need to be very aware that this is often done.
They have been doing this forever. Writing anything they choose ahead of time. Predicting. They are lazy and worthless, and this is dangerous.

What about the people who read the article below BEFORE the WI primaries even finished....well, barely begun..

1. Assumed that's what they did
but I didn't know about this with Dean - and that's Knight-Ridder...weren't they the one that actually did some actual reporting (questioning the WH) before Iraq? (not that that alone makes them a good agency, I just had a little better opinion of them before I knew this.

2. We were all stunned and hurt.
I talked to someone at that station that day....they said they were misled. I asked them did they not know when the primary was? They were so dense.

3. Kick to show how often it is done.
Really bad for this to happen.

4. CNN wrote up Cheney's obituary.
In 2001, I believe. SOP.

6. Now let me see......an obit and a primary.
I thought they were quite different. I find it alarming that reporters and their editors must do this kind of thing ahead of time and allow such damaging stuff to be released.

I don't think SOP is acceptable in this case at all.

5. Oh, did you think 'news events' were real?
No, no, no. Remember, this is all just a maga 'reality' show. Oops, you must be one of the contestants. Forget I said anything.
