8. Funny, that...
Bush and co, while trying his best to convince us that Communism is a work of the Devil, and will never work, and always lead to injustice and dictatorship... at the same time brings the American economy into a position in which eventually (once all the jobs are gone, for instance), Communism will be the only viable alternative.

Behold the power of the Free Market. The Irony.

22. Yes, I talked to her today in fact, on a miserably long
call to AT&T customer service. The reason it was so long was due to the fact that she had no idea as to what I was talking about and just kept repeating the same things over and over again. I cancelled the service and switched to Verizon (not just because of her, but due to horrible service in general.)

13. added to the others from LBN...14,900 jobs LOST ...forever
A pretty bad day, I would say ..

I know that some of these will be spread out over a long term, but when this kind of news hits on ONE day, it starts people who DO have jobs, thinking.. When people fear that they too will lose their job, they zip up that wallet, which only results in lowered sales, and MORE job losses..

Our economy operates on FAITH .. When ordinary people lose faith in the system, everyone gets hurt..

There're no jobs for the 18-year-olds ... so the only thing they can do is "volunteer."

24. AT&T Wireless just called and they were east indians.
I am not kidding you. Just momemts ago they called to sell me a plan and the Indian guy gave me over to his Indian supervisor whose name was, are you ready? Richard Hunt!!! Yeah right. i wanted to tell him that I don't believe in supporting the outsorcing of America but I am too polite to say that to another man who probably needs that job as well.

Never the less, I won't support the out-sourcing of American jobs.
