I have an idea. Do you know ONE person you can depend on? If so, e-mail the video to that person and ask them e-mail to one person he/she depends on. Tell the person in your e-mail that you picked them because they are the "one" person you can depend on to not let it die.

Does anyone think that would work or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

I've started several threads recently for ideas for battling this Sinclair thing and didn't get any responses, at all.

Now I can focus on my new complex that my ideas must just suck.

I think it's in GD04. I've been writing e-mails to Sinclair sponsors, the FCC, local stations etc. from the info on that thread. You might want to check it out.

You've got great ideas so don't knock yourself. These boards move fast, so it's easy to miss a lot of what goes on around here (especially if you have a LIFE ;-) ). Also, any sort of activism never gets quite the response it should. You can often see over a hundred posts on a thread like the one about Laura Bush telling Theresa not to wear blue to the second debate, but an activism thread is usually lucky to get 30 responses (if any).

6. Hi! Yes, I've been to that thread.

Additionally, I've been trying to keep tabs on any/all Sinclair threads in all the forums. Everytime I think about the media using it's power to deliberately impact our election I feel sick. The implications of this type of corruption are monumental. I'm honestly not that worried that it will impact Kerry that much. I'm much more concerned about the precedent that will be set by this and the potential impact it could have on our democracy.

I know what you mean about the activism threads. Many of them slip and disappear out of sight before very many people get to see them. I get discouraged by that because I see opportunities that might get lost in the shuffle, but it's understandable.
