Hence the but Clinton, they are going to try to hand this on the CIA, just as the brits tried to hang it on MI6, and MI6 went down and fouight, and won. I think Tennet will do the same, as well as his agents...

After all in this mess the honorable people have been the Intel agencies in both countries, they were leaking like sieves before the war...

What happens if * ends up having to sack the lot of em. Folks would be screaming for an investigation, even the republicans, I think.

The administration has been doing a good job at preventing investigations in the past, so I don't think they can give Tenet too much grief. It just wouldn't be in their best interest.

Of course, if I were Tenet, I wouldn't be getting on any small aircraft anytime soon.

5. My guess, there's a subset of the CIA that is the Bush Cartel

Something like the movie, Timecop. Some honest lovers of liberty, the Constitution, Bill of Rights, in short, the Old American Republic.

The rest (a number that is probably growing as those fence-sitters) "go along to get along" are Busheviks who suooprt their Masters above all.

This is of course, speculation, but it is also how most human endeavors work. Ass-kissers and honest people.

They are going to use the Electronic CounterMeasures strategy and fill the air with Rhetorical Mylar. The Busheviks, being Totalitarians at heart, have rewritten "1984" and filled in the details that Orwell got wrong because he was righting about Extreme Leftism, not Extreme Rightism.

My guess is that the Bush Cartel of the CIA, not to mention all the ex-spooks who got fired by Carter (like Charles Kane) and now probably form the backbone of the Bushevik Mercenary Team (or whatever they call themselves), will do everything in their power to help their Masters.

And the Right-Wing Sub-Media will do what it does so well: Launder Lies, Manufacture Lies, and throw so much Rhetorical Mylar in the air that, as usual, a thoroughly weary, hynotized and psychomanipulated populace will throw up their hands in confusion.

Further, lacking a Sub-Media infrastructure which is an absolute necessity for keep a story in play these days :puke: and lacking any real political power in the Imperial Palace or Senate, no investigations will be launched.

My God, it's as disgusting as living in Stalinist Russia. On the other hand, Busheviks do not yet feel comforatbly enough in control to restort to these tactics...yet.

But they will. If they are not stopped, oh my yes they will. History says it is a shoo-in.

And I have learned to listen very carefully to the voice of history.
