A sure sign Bush is in trouble...
I was at a block party in downtown Houston where thousands of people watched the Astros game projected on the sides of buildings. When Bush came on to give his minute long speech, a bunch of people booed (no cheers). Then when it came time for Kerry's turn, people cheered (no boos).

4. Nope.
You see more Kerry stickers here than Bush. I think we know we're a minority, so all we can do is make noise. And no one's really thrilled with W.

3. That is so awesome
Just makes me think more and more that this election will be a Kerry landslide. Polls are B.S.

5. I have a friend in Houston whose husband works for a huge oil company...
When the war first began she sent me one "kick ass" e-mail after another. The e-mails waned after a few months, then stopped coming altogether.

About 4 or 5 months ago she sent me an anti-Bush e-mail & I asked her if she planned to vote for Bush. "Not unless he shows he can walk on water." Having known her for years, I knew that meant she was turned off for good by his pandering to the fundies.

6. For what it's worth...........
as I made the yard sale rounds this morning I noticed decidedly more Kerry/Edwards signs on lawns etc than I did BushCo signs. This is in central Florida. I think Cheneyburton and his chimp are done for.

7. Kerry supporters in TX
I live in Fort Worth, in the city's historic south side, and you see far more signs and bumper stickers for Kerry than Bush. Unfortunately I don't think that means Kerry has more votes here, particularly in the heavily Republican suburbs. It just shows that even in Texas the Repubs aren't that thrilled with *. They'll hold their nose and vote for the guy, but they aren't about to put up a sign for him.

But still, it's heartening to drive down my street and see about a dozen Kerry/Edwards signs on the lawns and just one measley Bush/Cheney sign on a misguided neighbor's house.

9. Here in Virginia it's the same
I live in the Hampton Roads area (lotsa military) but the ratio of Kerry stickers to * stickers is around 4:3.

I know Repugs who are already saying they are going to stay home on election day, and that's fine with me.
