It's going to be alright, this morning I saw a rainbow.
I woke up this morning, looked out my window and saw one of the most beautiful rainbows I've ever seen. I don't have the adjectives to describe how wonderful it looked. It practically sparkled.

I'd like to think this was a sign that Kerry is going to win, but I'm not going to try to guess the mind of God today.

I'm off to work right now, perhaps later this evening I will post the pictures of the rainbow. In the meantime, have faith in the American people.

I feel a sense of inner calm that I haven't felt in a long time.

3. I wouldn't count on it being a sign....
Remember, the freeper down the block probably thought the same thing.
A real sign is an increase in voter registrations and the poll monitnoring to prevent another Florida2000 this time around!

This was taken this spring in my front yard......

5. I just read recently that Buncombe county
has 'predicted' the presidential election for the last 30 years (whoever has won in Buncombe has won the country)
I'll will certainly take the rainbow as a good sign!

7. Well, I don't believe in omens, but for those of you who do...
here's this:

On the day the Iraq war started, I went outside and found a dead bird in my back yard. It was a dove. Torn in half. (The symbolism here should be obvious, and unsuperstitious as I am, it gave me pause.)

Yesterday, I was outside, and a dove landed on the very same spot, looked me in the eye, and flew away. Omen, synchronicity, or meaningless occurrence, make of it what you will...
