1. The hate machine was already on....
It's just going into 5th gear now that repubs control the house and senate as well

2. I have a feeling the Fundies are ...
going to get tired of being jerked around, which they sort of are. Jesus and Christianity is given lip-service, but not a lot of real action. I was raised in a Fundie church. I know how fast these people will turn on even those they perceive as their own for the slightest thing. It will be something stupid -- not killing a bunch of people in an illegal war, but something totally petty, but I'm pretty sure it's going to happen. Maybe they'll start their own party.

5. Best thing that could happen. Weakens both parts.
It is very conceivable.

4. well ... yeah being as beholden as they are to the
goddamn fundies. They are going to turn on each other right quickly. I might be over estimating the ability of the religious right to recognize that they are being screwed. Nah ... the moderates are going to fight.

6. Let's recap
The Fundamentalist Christians, The Neocons, The Libertarians, and The Moderates.

May they have fun turning on each other. It's my only hope for 4 years.
