When will someone stand up to Coulter
Why is it that whenever she is on one of the chit-chat shows she is always up against some sissified fool who never calls her out on anything. She always goes up against someone like Alan Colmes or some sissy "Democratic consultant". When will she be up against someone who will scream at the top of their lungs that she is nothing more than a neo-Nazi, anorexic bitch who hates America?

1. She plans it that way
Scheduled to appear with Conason on CNBC and chickened out!

She can't face the truth!

37. She is IRRELEVENT. When you STOP paying attention to her, she will FADE
away into oblivion. She is popular so long as OUR side acknowledges she exists.

She doesn't exist in my world. She is utterly irrelevent. She means nothing. She is just a hacker entertainer whore who would change her allegiance to the pimp who pays her more at the drop of a hat.

Dismiss her. When someone brings her name up, say "Who?" And when they explain, state that you don't consider flame bait entertainers to be relevent and change the topic.

33. Conason couldn't handle Blanquita Cullum on Crossfire. . . .
. .. who just sat there and talked incessantly, not allowing Joe to get a word in edgewise. Neither Tucker Carlson nor co-guest-host Al Franken did a thing to shut her up either. So I'm not sure Conason would fare any better against Coulter.

The Right is full of anger, and we're not -- but we need to be. I don't mind Franken getting a bit hysterical, and I positively groan every time I see someone like Conason or, in a segment from about a year or so ago, Eric Alterman wimping out to some rightwing skirt.

Sometimes you just have to stand up, lean over the table, get in their astonished little faces and say, "SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME TALK, YOU NAZI COW."

Peace,

Tansy Gold, whose role model (for today) is Amy Madigan's character in "Field of Dreams"

3. Conason tried
to get Matthews to have them both on at the same time, but Chris said he wasn't interested. Too bad as that would be a good show, if they let Joe talk. I wrote to hardball and told them they should take Joe up on his offer to debate Coulter.

Maybe if enough people write in Chris will get the message.

5. She is disarming by the fact that she won't bring it, like she does...
On FNC (where, I'm sure, Colmes has anxiety attacks everday, over the continued-existance of his job), or in her literature. Now when she gets on shows like Bill Maher's (by the way, whom considers her as a friend and probably wouldn't want to give her the thorough embarrassment she deserves), she tones it down. I've always noticed a difference between her on Politically Incorrect, and Maher's new show, compared to her on FNC. Even my brother, who's a lib, but not a political junkie like myself, he used to watch Maher's old show and his new one, but couldn't believe that Coulter was the same person who wrote Slander.

6. The only chance is on Bill Maher's show...
Bill's shows seem to be the closest she'll stray into "enemy territory" and apparently, he's p*ssy-whipped by his "nightclubbing buddy" Ann.

She does not look at all well to me... kind of like the Crypt-Keeper with a dye job. She does seem to be part of a new breed of "right-wing hotties" -- all the better to sway the macho non-thinkers. On Yahoo, the few positive (non-lib bashing) comments are always ended with "...and she's totally hot."

http://www.jerseygop.com/RepublicanBabes16.html

I even saw a post on the Yahoo once that asked "why are all liberal women ugly?" -- pointing to Hillary and Janet Reno and Madeline Albright... -- always a basis for sound political thinking. Of course, no man has ever made a foolish decision due to a woman's influence. :)

9. She is probably sleeping with Maher
That's the only reason Maher has her on the show regularly.

By the way, I have no compuction about calling a woman like Coulter a slut, a whore or that other derogatory word about women that begins with a "c". She repudiates feminism and liberalism; let her see how she would be treated were it not for those social movements in history.

I waited for 55 minutes at the Stage Door.
My query, "Yo,Bill! Why do you have that lying, sack of shit, tranny, Coulter on your show? Why's she your BUDDY?"

His response. "It's SHOW biz,Pal! Pure SHOW biz!. You think I hang with HER!?" Then..into a Big SUV.

12. Actually, Maher often puts her down on the show.
Once he even said to her face that her statement was ridiculous and then proceeded to take it apart. Maybe he buys her a few Cosmopolitans after the show to make it up to her. She hasn't been on recently though. Maybe they aren't so cozy anymore?

22. Have you heard Maher talking about Ashcroft lately.
He sounds just like his girlfriend Ann. Maher gives Ashcroft credit for the fact that their have been no terror attacks since 9/11. Never mind that there have been some, just not on US soil. Never mind that A-Q waits years between attacks so that the subject of the attacks will let their garud down. Never mind that even if we have become the enemy if we throw out the constitution to achieve military goals.

Maher is an ass and he is influenced by Ann.

27. Maher has a lot of 'splaining to do
no wonder he supports Ashcroft and Bush on some issues. He spent all of 2000 trashing the Dems in support of Nader.

Maher has also gone military crazy. He now says he'll support the candidate who was in the military every time. I think its because he was taken to the woodshed over his comments post 9-11 about the military (which were true). He knows if he wants air time he has to be nice to the regime.

We are living in hell. All of the media is owned by the fascists. Even the comedians.

20. "SHE'S totally hot?"
Holy Shi*, Batman! Have these "he-man Coulter worshippers" even noticed "her" unusually large hands and pronounced Adam's apple? OK, everyone now (in Austin Powers' voice): "She's a MAN, baby."

My gay friends all refer to her as Man Coulter. I have often heard it said that hers is not an overly convincing drag act (unless you're a Freeper or something). I guess when most of the women on your side of the aisle look like Babs Bush (AKA the Quaker Oats Guy), anything resembling a Barbi doll (even with lots of Ken down below) is cause to get excited?

Hillary has got it going on! And Maddy is fairly attractive for an older lady. And remember, it's the beauty inside that counts just as much for these two.

8. I will say this again:
Coulter is absolutely one of the best things Dems have going. She's so totally over the top, so completely fucking nuts, that people have to look at her and figure if the wingers take her seriously, they are as nuts as she is. I don't watch TV, but from the transcripts of her appearances I've read, I get the feeling she is a Democrat in disguise, deliberately sabotaging the crazies out there.

Coulter is such an obvious wack job that she discredits conservatism.

She's a self-aggrandizing sideshow and will be one of the first phony pundits sacrificed by the media when the tide finally turns.

31. ok,counterpoint...
I skimmed through her book, didnt like alot of what it said, but I found little that was factually inaccurate.

Her books seem to be copiously footnoted, and I, as one who checks out footnotes when I read something
I dont like, and it IS footnoted, found that factually she was correct.

Now my question is....

Is she wrong? Is she factually inaccurate? because if she is not than we are stupid to raise such hell over her. If she is then we need to quote and footnote the contradictory facts. Not simply regurgitate, opinion and innuendo.

He picks apart quite a few of her lies from her books, including much of her bogus endnotes. He proves she is lazy, and if done cleverly enough, proves how many people - including her - use endnotes to cover scads of lies and half-truths.

35. Right-wing pundits NEVER debate
in an uncontrolled setting. They know they will lose, so, instead, they make sure everything is very carefully controlled, from the moderator to the "liberal" they are debating. Rush Limbaugh has yet to go onto a show where every detail hasn't been ironed out and a win assured.

This is how they control things - by setting up every debate so that they will win soundly, they show how "right" they are, and how stupid Democrats are. Fairly simple propaganda trick that could be countered if the media were anything resembling fair.

Edited on Tue Sep-02-03 10:36 AM by Keithpotkin
thats right...the one and only...the devil in the flesh...Ann Coulter.

she was shopping for shoes with a bitchy friend of hers who kept trying to get the attention of the shoe salesmen who was attending my mother. After being a bitch for a few minutes, my mother reports that Ann and her friend huffed and puffed their way out of the store...and on the way out...SHE TRIPPED OVER MY MOTHERS SHOES!!! no joke, my mother has never told a lie. so Ann huffed and puffed some more...and my mom and her friend gave each other a little mental highfive.

thought you all would like this story. one more point for the good guys. so in some small way...my mom, and her shoes...stood up against Ann. :bounce:
