IDEA: Cancel cable news subscription and donate the money saved to....
Media Matters! (the media watchdog group founded by David Brock)

What better way to fight the right wing media whores than to divert revenue from them to media watchdog groups devoted to correcting right wing misinformation??

www.mediamatters.org

OR, if you prefer to donate the savings to other anti-right wing groups, try People for the American Way, MoveOn, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, etc. etc.

2. I am going to do something I have never done before
And that is make out a budget so I can see just where my money is going now, and where I can cut out.
And there may not be n=much I can help with but a dollar here and a dollar there soon mounts up to real money.

3. I would love to give up cable TV. However, in point of fact, I
use a cable modem, the cost of which is lower if I also subscribe to cable TV. I work on-line about 10-12 hours a day, and it would be extraordinarily impractical for me to give up my cable modem to return to dial up (I've only had cable for a couple of years). How much work I do (am able to get done) is dependent on processing time (I'm not paid a salary but rather my income is based on production).

If anyone has any idea for any other boycotts, I would love to hear them. I don't shop at Wal-Mart and try to support the mom and pop stores in my area. :) What else?

4. we need a practical, easy way to damage the fascists
bushevik pigs by ordering, then cancelling, services and goods, thus costing them; or abusing their 1-800 system. it's war, just like they war on us- 'monkey wrench gang' time
