Via Condios Colin, don't forget to take your so called respectability too
i'll never get why some people heaped so much respect on colin powell, who has ceaselessly kissed bushkkko's asses loyally for so long, or why some saw him as the level headed moderate of the nazi crew. i have no respect for you colin, never did, and resigning now won't help that. you were in on all of it colin, take your blows from the historians. you sold your soul and now maybe you regret it. too late.

3. Colin's Respectability
I think most, including myself, respected Colin for his exemplary work within the Clinton Administration. It was my general impression that upon joining up with Bushco. he was attempting to keep his name in politics while at the same time possibly interjecting a little sanity into that now all too familiar madness. Of course as we have now noticed he failed miserably; but to be fair what chance did he ever have? Because it was also my distinct impression that Bush adopted him into the cabinet to reach his racial quota. They never really intended to give him any power and I think he finally realized that at the end of the first Bush term. He did go along for the ride however, and I too will not forgive him for it.

4. I think he's got what's left of his respectability
inside his coat pocket. Unfortunately, it is in a coat that he disgarded after his performance in the UN. The only way he can get it back to is resign and start talking. It will never bring back the lives that have been lost under his watch as Secretary of State but it might make me less likely to throw something at the televison.

6. only time will tell
but I think (hope) he's wrestling himself over this. Right now, pond scum is almost too nice a description.
