2. So?
Personally, I think Arnold is all about Arnold.

But, let's assume that supporters are all really working toward making it possible for Mel to run (is he their only Hispanic? Why move mountains for him?). It still wouldn't matter to me.

I base my support or oppostion to constitutional amendments on principle, not individuals.

3. It's about foreign domination of the United States of America.
And it will never be about anything else.

4. Let's hope it backfires and allows liberal Americans born
in foreign countries to run for President, like Madeline Albright, if it gets passed.

5. They are going to amend the constitution for partisan reasons
to try to run a more popular guy in 2008?

Can these people continue to make any bigger fools of themselves? They seem to outdo themselves all the time.

6. Every time I hear about this amendment it sounds more ridiculous
Since WHEN do we write amendments to the constitution to benefit ONE man?
Will they call it the "Arnold" amendment?

Why do these repubs think this man walks on water?
Is it the "star power"?

Are they hitching their wagons to a "star" whose acting career centers on playing an emotionless robot?

Who next? Pee Wee Herman?

7. It bothers me because it shows a complete lack of respect for the
Constitution. You don't just piddle around with the Constitution because it would be convenient this week. That's what bothered me most about Bush's shameless anti-Gay Marriage ammendment campaign.

The idea of ammending the Constitution to deny rights to people is repellant in itself, of course- but doing it just to have a lever in a political campaign disgusts me just as much.

8. Frankly, I wouldn't be to worried about that changing, worry about the...
22nd amendment more. There have been rumblings in congress, that after the mid term elections in 2006, if the repukes get more than 60 seats, see repeal of that one.
