Daily demonstrations in Seattle
A friend of mine has a daughter in Seattle. I was told this morning that there are daily demonstrations, and the one on the weekends are big - in the thousands.

Maybe I missed it, but I nothing of this in http://seattle.indymedia.org/

Has anyone heard of demonstrations, there or elsewhere, that are not making it into any media (even ours?)

2. I heard of a couple of weekend ones at Westlake
but nothing approaching this size, and I haven't seen any beyond the first one (I think it was the Saturday after the election) on the news.

at the Westlake Center, and there were maybe 200 people there.

5. the march grew
It seemed like there were more people that joined in on the march though. I know we did as we had left the rally to go grab a bite to eat.

I liked the die-in at the Pike Place Market intersection. Maybe it gave the tourists something in the way of an impression to take home with them.
