Carjacking... in Minneapolis?

Police say they now believe the killing of a 20-year-old who was found outside a Minneapolis Cub Foods store was the result of a failed carjacking.

Tremaine Finley and another person were shot in an alley Wednesday night.

At first, police thought it was a botched drug deal. They say it now appears the victims were among the people smoking marijuana in a car when they were approached by a gunman hoping to steal their vehicle.

The gunman fired into the car, hitting Finley and the other victim, who was wounded.

Others in the car dropped the two victims at nearby Rainbow and Cub grocery stores. Finley, who had been dropped at Cub, later died.

There have been no arrests.

I believe there has even been at least one at the Mall of America. (I say at least one because the Bloomington police and City Council do their best to downplay any problems over there.)
