there is a pathologist at work who would say the dumbest things and then laugh and act so superior and I thought how can someone so smart be not only so ignorant but pleased with himself as well. This past week he came in and twice said something about I don't even know what it was but it was just plain ignorant and it occurred to me that the he listens to limbaugh and then repeats it like he is the genious. I'm glad I don't have to work with him often.

Ask them what the think of public education, public roads, fire departments, hospitals, law enforcement, clean water, street lights, sidewalks, EMT, and other social (societal) benefits.

I can't stand these assholes who think anything social is bad. They'd be crying a fucking river if these social programs were taken away. And when they complain about taxes, remind them that taxes are what people pay to live in a first world country with all the things mentioned above. The day after the election, Repubs were gloating big-time..... until I walked into the room(it was a class I had). I stopped and waited for the FIRST Repub to start with me and I was ready.

Every single last one of them, lowered their heads and shut their mouths.

At the break, there was one Repub student who was asking why he had to be scared of me, they told him not to take me on, he said they should be rejoicing that my guy didn't win and that I wasn't so tough, I'm a woman.

I was on the way to my seat but when I heard that, I dropped my pocketbook, turned and said "what did you say?"

Even the TEACHER backed away LOL!

I have to hand it to the guy, he was visibly frightened, but Cowboyed-up anyway.

All I can say is that I started with "FIRST of all........" and it was 15 minutes later, with the ENTIRE class back in their seats eating POPCORN, shaking their heads in sympathy, and in some cases, snickering underneath their breath, like it was a frickin, movie before I was finished.

I can finally laugh at it now, but after spending an entire day trying to encourage heartbroken Repubs and Indys I didn't have much comedy in me at that time.

That same guy, scurries away whenever he sees me on campus to this day but I can finally find the humor in it.

Fight back with facts.

Repubs can't keep up because they are bound by propaganda.

You never know. But some people are a lost cause. But, the way I feel about it is, no matter what a SPED the person is there are others around listening, lurkers on boards, people on the fence, etc. Always, always speak up and speak ones truth.
