4. I love Costco
Costco appears to be one of the few good choices for purchases.

23. I just joined, but as a single, it's hard to shop there
Costco mostly sells mass quantities of anything.

5. Disheartening overall...
but what do you expect from large corporations?

I was hoping Target might be a little more Dem.

Are Borders and Barnes and Noble owned by the same company? I usually prefer Borders, but I'd be willing to go to B&N for political reasons.

7. Borders and Barnes and Noble are competitors
Each owns a "mall" bookstore as well. B&N owns B. Dalton and Borders owns Walden Books.

Since Target (at least used to be) owned by the Dayton family, the same Dayton family that produced Senator Mark Dayton (D-MN).

13. I just switched from Sam's to Costco.
And I've started shopping Sears and Target rather than Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, the best I can say about Sears & Target is that they simply don't make contributions as large as Wally-World, even thought they are both too red for my tastes.

I've heard Lowe's is bluer than Home Depot; can anyone back that up?

18. I think the data on Fox is reversed
It should be 68% Repug and 32% Dem. At least according to OpenSecrets.org and their soft money donations in previous cycles.

19. We need to aggressively and relentlessly go after the following:

DEM PUG
Sinclair Broadcast Group 5% 95%
$3,833 $72,869
Clear Channel Communications 30% 70%
$201,181 $469,423

Those two corporations unlike any further have spread lies.

20. Add Leatherman Tools to Blue Side
Cause Freepers and GunNuts are boycotting them for having the audicity to support Kerry.

Someone here posted a letter from Tim Leatherman a couple of weeks ago about the hate email/letters he's getting. Anyone have the link? And here's link from Freepers discussing how they're boycotting Leatherman.
