Bush EPA Plan: People will drink dirty water.
When it comes to clean water in America, the Bush Administration says that is too expensive.

States won't have to upgrade water treatment facilities, under a new plan from the EPA.

We'll be drinking dirty water when it rains, under the plan from Bush's EPA.

For more infrormation, read the click here for an NRDC press release,..

Email Congress on this issue.

Tell Congress you want strict clean water standards and email a link to the NRDC article to your Congressperson and Senators.

Find their websites and contact info at vote-smart.org, and send them a message that you care about the enivronment with this link:

1. Bush Is bragging about building new, clean wells for Iraqis
and it plans on giving the Iraqis a superior water/sewer infrastructure.

2. Not that it's any comfort, but
Bush is probably lying about that, too.

5. It is in the BFEE's monetary interests to have the US drinking dirty water
Since they own one of the largest private water companies in the world(Vivendi), they are more than happy that our public water will be getting dirtier. It will drive up sales in their bottled water division, and allow a wedge with which to privatize water across America.

Always follow the money, it will lead you to the real reasons for any particular action.

9. I joined the NRDC. Got my first note from them today.
I'm glad they are getting their members behind this.

I would love to see *'s response if he was given a glass of water from one of these out-dated water treatment plants after a rainstorm . . . sort of like the scene in the movie Erin Brockovich when Julia Roberts offers the contaminated water to the lawyers for the power company.

He wouldn't "get it" and would greedily drink it down.
