You know that video of Bush at the press conference,

where he talks into his tie? Has anyone figured out what he said? That thing has been bugging me for days now and driving me crazy, so does anyone know what he said?

Also something that bothers me, is before he talks into his tie he talks about indiscriminate bombing, and says something like "I can understand people looking at their TV and seeing indiscriminate bombing, where thousands of innocent, or hundreds of innocent Iraqis are being killed."

Hmm yes don't tell the people its really over 100,000 innocent Iraqis dead, they might not like that.

1. That clip was disappointing.

You can't know from the clip whether it was covert communication, or a stifled burp. File it away for future evidence if necessary.

With so many more concrete things to nail bush with (how come we've stopped asking about the lump on his back, for example?) this just makes us look like we're grasping at straws for deficiencies. And we hardly need to do that.

I don't think we look like we're grasping at straws. There's just so much junk lying around...

3. I only watched a clip

And really, I don't believe the tie thing was any big deal, but what I did notice is he didn't appear nearly as arrogant as he usually does. As I said, I only watched a short clip - I couldn't stand to watch him for any longer than that, but in the part I watched, he did not appear to be a man with a man date. Anyone who could stomach the whole thing - am I wrong?
