01/04/05 AFGHANISTAN DOD: Army Casualty Identified

Sgt. 1st Class Pedro A. Munoz, 47, of Aquada, Puerto Rico, died Jan. 2 in Shindand, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained Jan. 1 when his patrol encountered enemy fire. Munoz was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, N.C.

Green Beret Jeremy Wright was killed by a roadside bomb while in his Humvee this past weekend. The 31-year-old attended Southwestern High School in Shelby County and Wabash College. He was based at Fort Lewis in Washington State.
