Before Bush2000, didn't Free Republic work to expose the Bush-BCCI crimes
and the coverup? Seems I recall there were those on FR who were well aware and suspicious of Bush's connections to BCCI, the Saudis and the Bin Ladens.

Any of you who frequent that site know what happened to those posters and whether or not their work is still archived there?

1. I wasn't on the internet before 2000
I'd be interested in learning what people were
saying durring the rep. primary of 2000.

Were their McCain fans who got upset about bush's dirty tactics ?

2. Yes, you nailed it. And they racked up quite a bit of research against W
at the time. I wonder if any of them remembered it after 9-11? Those who did would have KNOWN that Moore's film barely even scratched the surface of Bush's association with terrorists and their funding by international financier cronies.

Well we've got "draft-dodger Newt" as Speaker of the House, and a certifable pansy Ole Miss cheerleader as Majority leader in the Senate. Why not good ol' George as Prez. never mind the texas Stadium shady deals, or the fact that geo had been bought and paid for many more times thana $2 w@#$!. Cant start having corporate America start paying their share of taxes can we? Might not be able to afford another Gulfstream V business jet. God. The Dems buy influence by providing false hope to the "opressed" and the Repubes are owned by corporate Amerika. How did this country ever get into such miserable shape?

5. Yes, and they exposed junior and all his national guard duties
and his drug problems, abortion of Robin Lowe, James Bath and etc. FR went on for months with a big cat fight on who was gonna be nominated in 2000.

I did frequent the site in those times. But have no idea how one would archive those threads. Since they would be quite damming to junior after he stole the election, I doubt seriously if they could be found. Also a lot bad stuff on John McCain and his Naval duties as a flier.

7. And now FR tries to beat up CBS for exposing the very same story they did
in 2000.

10. Wow. That would have been so cool to post all their rants against Bush
Edited on Tue Jan-11-05 04:09 PM by blm
and all the evidence they, themselves, collected against the dictatortot that matches ours.

I would love to dedicate a whole week here at DU reposting all those old threads from Free Republic chronicling their case against George Bush and his crooked family.

12. Somebody out there has them, just finding that person is the trick.
Dedicating a month would be more like it! They are on someone's hard drive some place, I know it.

11. JimRob is a pro-life nut. All else is secondary to ending abortion.
He sold his soul out to Bush- it is as simple as that. and another thing: Who cares what they think over there? We know Bush supporters tend to be hypocrites. FR is a waste of human energy. It is sad that there were some good talents there, but I am sure they'll find a home with some other right wing blog.

13. Just as counter to their antiCBS rants that do make their way into the MSM
I tend to find constructive reasons for exposing the right and their hypocrisy at ANY level.

14. But the 'blog' aspect is now such a small footnote to the whole story
the bottom line is how the story got conflated to being about these mystery documents and possible fraud instead of about Bush.

15. what the hell would the christian right do if we did end abortion?
I mean once we do that an all the gays renounce gaydom, then the christian right would surely have to shrivel and die. Perhaps implode? What would it's purpose be? How could it prove itself higher and mightier than thou, if they didn't have abortion and gays to kick around?
How could it ask its followers for all of their money if they didn't have such terrible evils to fight?
ahhh just having a sarcastic pissy day.
sorry
