Wonder how long the "family" media critics will allow this one to be on... Saw it on USA at 1015PM, if this plays before 9, some parents will freak.

I found it offensive and I could care less about "sexy ads".

A young girl and her boyfriend are on one couch and her parents (or his on the other). The girl pops some dentyne in her mouth and "sexually" attacks her boyfriend and starts flinging off her clothes. The parents watch for awhile, the mom pops the dentyne, and does the same thing with dad. Just plain gross.

Randy Moss just got fined for fake mooning and this is supposed to sell gum?

1. Fire the AD agency

If they are trying to get more woman consumer ... thats one sure fireway of losing it.

As for targeting male hmmm dont see how its going to work.

2. saw it a week ago and fired off an email to the company

no i am not a prude and i am not a fundamentalist. i am a mom, with a 12 year old niece and 9 and 7 year old sons. it was on at 7:45 during a kid friendly movie. it was offensive. it was teaching children exactly wrong. it made parents look ridiculous, the whole message was bad.

told been enjoying htere gum, as has my kids, but at some point this has to stop

i got a good letter back. saying they would watch responses. they put their ads thru watch groups first. i told them in response dont care, wont buy their product but thanked them for the courtesy letter back to me. havent heard back a second time yet
