5. Peter Jennings made a point that other countries could see this
via their news media, and so we should see it here too, to see what they were seeing. Also commented on the oddness of bush's "freedom" words and protesters behind chainlink fences. Hmmm, off to check aljazera.

8. The CBS "independent panel" that axed 4 over Rathergate
was actually 2 people: an ex-Reagan cabinet official and an AP executive with ties to Iran-Contra.

The fix was in.

I for one will be tuning back in to TEEVEE news for a trial period on ABC to see how it goes.

There's lots of money to be made for people who will tell the truth.

It is a rare commodity today, highly in demand.
