We've Reached the Halfway Point of the BUSH Presidency!
On The Daily Show, Jon Stewart introduced the footage of Bush's inauguration saying, "And now, the moment we have all been waiting for! The halfway point of the Bush Presidency!"

I guess that's a good way to put it.

3. not necessarily
if they get the admendmwent that would allow arnold to eventually run for president, bush could reword that admendment to let him run for a third term or maybe even more. Do I detect dictatorship? hmmm. LMK what you all think.

6. so very little chance of that
even with the House and Senate in control, it is very unlikely that there could be an amendment of that nature (or allowing naturalized citizens take office) in the next four years. even if something were to be approved by both houses it would need the ratification of the states, which doesn't happen very quickly

more of concern is the prospect of President Jeb Bush.....arg!

4. Maybe even more than halfway.
Although I think it highly unlikely, I still hold out a glimmer of hope of this worthless piece of DNA leaving office before '08. In addition, the 2nd terms of a few recent presidents have been anything but pleasant . Let's see how far he can take the rwing agenda before enough people sit up and take notice.

12. So, we need to work hard, so this doesn't happen again
The Bush 43 administration's polices are so similar to the Hoover polices, that we might as well expect another stock market crash and another great depression. I'm kind of scared of that. But all of the numbers line up. Research the Hoover administration if you doubt this.
We had 30% unemployment, and the union battles in those times. People died to fight for their right to make a living wage. It's happening again. Join the protest marches. One more voice makes a big difference. You don't need a sign, or anything, just come and march with us. Only the extremists get picked off by the cops, so don't fret that. Come and march. Or we'll be in union battle time again.

Howard

16. Article on Yahoo News
There is a link titled: "Bush starts new term, seeks end to tyranny".

Does that mean he is stepping down?

17. America's Kristallnacht?
Hitler's half way point was more memorable. Let us hope that the chimp will fade into history as an incompetent boob. I fear the darkness of today will fade ever so much more. :evilfrown:
