4. Do you remember the photograph?

Rosemary Woods showed how it was physically possible for her to step on the pedal and answer the phone at the same time. It was quite a stretch.

5. in her spare time she was a contortionist.

Rose Mary Woods, the President's secretary, was catapulted into history when, later, she said she might be the person responsible for the mysterious erasing of 18½ minutes of critical information on key tapes of conversations held in the Oval Office on June 20, 1972 - three days after the Watergate break-in. It does not take long for an anonymous presidential personal secretary to become a household word when implicated in the questionable doings of her boss.

Nixon's secretary, she claimed to have accidentally erased a crucial 18 minutes of the Watergate tapes, demonstrated in the photo. While theoretically possible, her "simultaneous stretch, reach, press, and push" actions were extremely unlikely. Any one was "possible," but in combination, they were not believable. (more)

7. I'm hoping that it's Ken Starr
and that he keels over in a strip club while getting a lap dance from (and this may be redunant) an Ann Coulter male impersonator.

8. Hopefully the press will spend the next several days...
re-running the scandalous Nixon Watergate days in detail and reminding everybody what crooks the Repukes were and still are.

9. I guess further discussion on this should be on the new thread
that Bluebear just started at http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x2489662 (after deleting his/her response here). It's easy to spot. It has the same subject line.
