48. still processing grief I guess

takes a long time. Its like, you know your loved one died, and I was even with him when he died, but it seems to take so long to really believe it. I got a job, which Im sure will help with the grief, and when Michael comes home, I intend to have a party for him. He says he is transferring to the naval reserves..doesnt want to return to Iraq in the army, and I dont blame him. It will be a good day when he comes back. Hard on him tho, not being able to come home to his dad waiting for him. I intend to be there for him. I will ask him to write a few words on here to let you know what things are REALLY like over there, as we hear nary a peep of the truth on the news.
