What is the source of this quote?
"The definition of communism is the control of business by government. The definition of fascism is the control of government by business."

And would you agree?

1. Sort of mirrors a statement by Mussolini to the same effect.
And I agree somewhat.

2. The first part is pretty obvious
At least in the early stages of Communism (the only stages we seem to get to). The second part I'm not sure about. Certainly makes it easy to say that the United States is a Fascist nation (which may be the point) but I think it discounts the role of a Mussolini or a Hitler.

3. American Heritage Dictionary by way of Robert F Kennedy
from his book "Crimes Against Nature: How George W. Bush and his Corporate Pals Are Plundering the Country and Hijacking Our Democracy" (HarperCollins, 2004).

"While communism is the control of business by government, fascism is the control of government by business," he writes. "My American Heritage Dictionary defines fascism as 'a system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership together with belligerent nationalism.' Sound familiar?"

It definitely sounds familiar. I might've read that article before in fact.

Edit: Actually I haven't, so I'm reading it now.

4. I believe that is from RFK jr.'s Book...
"Crimes Against Nature: How George W. Bush and his Corporate Pals Are Plundering the Country and Hijacking Our Democracy" (HarperCollins, 2004).

And I believe I would agree.
