2. It's my hope that one day...some day enough people will see
that there is only one boat and were all in it.

8. And the suffering of Iraq's population
isn't under-reported? I say its NOT reported! Tens of thousands of people killed and it barely causes a ripple in the MSM. I am not kidding.

9. Geez People
Does nothing matter unless it involves politics? Try to show some concern for the poor people in these countries, especially Colombia, whose war is partly the fault of conservative idiots ( they pay and arm the colombian army and the para-militaries).

10. barely causes a ripple in the MSM?
Iraq and the assault on Fallujah barely caused a ripple in the MSM? The report is on underreported humanitarian stories for 2004. I mean, I expected a little bit on the child-soldiers in Nepal and was disappointed not to see that but seriously, Iraq and Fallujah are definitely in the focus of the MSM more so than these other stories.

4. How about one from within our borders?
1 out of every 4 children is not fully up to date on basic immunizations;
Half of all uninsured children have not had a well child visit in the past year;
1 out of every 3 of children with chronic asthma do not get a prescription for medications they need;
1 in 5 has trouble accessing needed care; and
1 in 3 went without health insurance for all or part of 2002 and 2003.

This is in the US.
