NBC's Go-To Guy (Brian Williams for Repukes)
http://www.usnews.com/usnews/issue/050214/whispers/14whisplead_2.htm

While Fox News Channel remains the favorite network of Republican lawmakers, NBC's new anchor, Brian Williams, is the one turning GOP heads. Message guru and former MSNBC contributor Frank Luntz says in a confidential memo to Hill leaders that Williams has emerged as the "go-to network anchor" because of his brains and "lack of detectable ideological bias." Luntz credits NBC Executive Producer Steve Capus for "a flawless transition to a new generation of news anchor." Still, Fox and CNN lead the nets when it comes to GOP loyalty.

news anchors?
Nope, I'm wrong Here is his story:(Wikipedia)
Williams was raised in Elmira, New York where he attended Hendy Avenue Elementary. Later, Williams moved with his parents to Middletown, New Jersey where he was a volunteer fireman, worked at a pancake restaurant and local Sears store. After high school, Williams attended George Washington University and transferred to Catholic University of America, both schools in Washington, DC.

Upon leaving college without a degree, a decision that he terms "one of my great regrets" <2> (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/02/09/business/media/09brian.html?pagewanted=2&ei=5070&en=d8d2bc06dd62f225&ex=1085803200), Williams began his broadcasting career at KOAM-TV in Pittsburg, Kansas and later moved back to Washington, DC to work at WTTG-TV as general assignment correspondent. After his stint there, Williams was hired at WCBS-TV in New York, NY where he won his first Emmy for his reporting of the stock market collapse.

3. I read somewhere that Williams will be the first "big three"
network anchor with no reporting background. A pure talking head with no investigative journalism skills.

8. Who Cares about Actual Qualifications?
He's good looking and that's what counts for a TV talking head. The superficial American publik doesn't give a sh*t about actual skills.

7. Quite NBC when he came on board
it has been obvious that he tilts toward the right and appears to be anxious to fulfill his role as sychophant.
Besides that he has to be the most affected anchor of all time - makes a point of staring at himself in the monitor with those tanning bed goggle eyes.
