1. I checked a linked thread from DU last night -

The freeps think "liberals shouldn't be anti-gay" when it concerns
Guckert/Gannon. The whole hypocrisy thing goes past them, as does the more important issue of the Plame leak. It's all about: "But liberals are supposed to be pro-gay! Why are they beatin' up on Jeff?"

2. It's just the same thing they do with Condi and Gonzales.

They try to make it about what they are, rather than what they do. If we call Condi a lying, incompetant whore, we're anti-black; if we call Gonzales a lying, torturing whore, we're anti-hispanic; if we call Gannon a lying, traitorous whore, we're anti-gay.

Even though their's is the party that embraces anti-black, anti-hispanic, anti-gay positions and tries to write them into law.

On Edit: Guess what they don't understand is that we don't like lying, cheating, murdering, torturers, even when they are Hispanic, Black, White or Gay. Their moral character outweighs their ethnic background or sexuality ... ergo, we can love them when they are Hispanic, Black, White or Gay, because they are good people, and we don't consider their ethnicity or sexuality when we look at them as people.
