I'm kind of confused to be called a social libertarian, since I don't know what that is.

I guess it means, get the gov't out of the bedroom, put permanently install them in the boardroom.

I guess I'm a little more authoritarian than I thought, but I had some issues with some of the questions.

Like the "women can have careers, but should maintain homemaking as their primary concern" If you strongly disagree does that mean you don't think they should have careers? I wanted to agree because I think BOTH men and women should should put their families first, but I didn't want to limit it to women and imply that its okay to be a work-a-holic man as long as you have a wife to sacrifice her career and back you up.

23. I had a few problems too
And that particular question bugged me. So we're evaluating women's choices. We can't do the same thing to men? Are they kidding?

But I think the real problem is that we have to get rid of right/left politics. There's also up/down. So let's look at it in three dimensions, not two.

Some of us want a revolution (me), but it should be a revolution of ideas and thinking It should fundamentally change us.

Ain't gonna happen soon, but we can lay the groundwork for it.

69. Are our leaders out of step with the public?
I find it incredibly disturbing how comparatively authoritarian contemporary politicians are on both sides of the political spectrum. I wonder how a large sample size would score on average? Surely most citizens aren't so eager to have the government rule their lives.

Of course, once again, the section on U.S. presidential candidates seems to confirm my strong belief that John Kerry was the more appropriate candidate for libertarian-leaning voters.
