Am out of it?
Is not one concerned with Acxiom or Choicepoint? Are you not concerned with your privacy?

I sent a post earlier regarding Acxiom. not much response.

Am I over reacting?

2. Choicepoint lost private data on people to 3rd parties.

Answer to your question: Yes - I'm concerned

the background...Someone posing as a bidness made off with personal data (credit) on ten's of thousands of people - like you n me.

Only California has laws on the books to force choice point to inform those people who's data was taken - estimates are 40,000 Californians persona info is in the hands of others, who may be exploiting/selling it. Choicepernt told them like 3? months later (dicks).

I don't know how many people in other states have had their personal info passed around.

Many state attorneys general are trying to get choicepoint to inform those affected in other states.

I don't know if they were successful.
I didn't hear about Acxiom

3. Acxiom is right down the street from me
they are the only office or building that I have seen so protective. That is why I question them. What are they trying to hide?

I might not understand everything, but something is not right there. It appears Choicepoint and Acxiom are one and the same.

I've tried to put pictures of Acxiom on DU but can't seem to do it.

It just bothers me that an office building would have iron wrought fences around their building and a lock gate to their entrance.

5. go to photobucket.com and make an account for yourself.
Follow the directions to upload pix to the photobucket.

after the pix is in the photobucket, copy the TOP address (you'll see three or 4 per picture) and then paste it into your DU post.

let me know if that needs more clarification

4. Everyone is on Autopilot or something
There are posts about RW talk hosts ( who cares, already?) and fast food commercials (?) but try to get some folks to sign a petition for Barbara Boxer and they disappear like roaches.

Here's an abbreviation: NAGAW: Need a good ass whoopin'

Whoop on em, n2mark.

;)
