Ken Blackwell Running for Governor of Ohio?
Were you guys aware of this? I wasn't until today when I received a solicitation in the mail.

How is it that people who "fix" the elections receive higher offices, ala Katherine Harris. Blackwell is complaining in his letter that the liberal Democrats are questioning the honesty of Ohio's voting system "WITHOUT ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE". Ten to one - he will win Ohio in a "landslide" as his reward.

2. Shat
I have known that little weasel was going to run a few months back when I heard he was on BC04FUBAR campaign.

He has the mayors of Columbus and Cleveland to contend with, which every one I have brought this up to like those guys more than blackwell, and it's not becuase he is black, it's becuase he is Taft Jr.

3. I Doubt Blackwell Will Even Get The Nomination...
..and if he does, it's dulusions of grandeur. I'm sure Ohio democrats won't forget what he did to rig the election in Ohio.

4. And he's already tallied the votes
Surprise! Ken Blackwell, new governor of Ohio. Now you Ohioans don't have to be inconvenienced with a messy and expensive election. What a guy!

7. How Is He Doing In Ohio?
I am from Wisconsin, and I try to keep up as best I can with what's going on. How is his "popularity" in Ohio? What are his chances? (Bad I hope)

11. He actually has a slim lead (among GOP candidates) for the nomination.
His limited appeal as a black candidate will be completely obviated if the Dems nominate Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman...which they seem ready to do.

Ole Kenny will need far more than Wally O'Dell to prevail on this one.

13. I really can't imagine he is very popular
of course I'm not in with the "right wing" - but he is saying he ALREADY has a 15 point lead. I'm not sure who the Dems will put up - given Cincinnati where he has "reigned" - is very very conservative, but the rest of Ohio has seen a lot of job loss - if a Dem can focus on that, he doesn't stand a prayer. Although, he does have the machines, so prayers won't matter much.

Lots of places in Ohio like Cleveland, etc., people stood in lines for hours and hours - poor people, middle class, out of work people, and I'm pretty sure they didn't wait for over 4 hours to vote for the guy that put them in the shape they are in. Ohio's vote was a travesty.

14. He's been trying to garner attention for years.
All the election craziness that he started? Name recognition.

This isn't news to any recent Ohio resident.

15. This is going to be a nightmare for Mr. Blackwell
I'm afraid that his race will be critical, sad as it may be. There's no freaking way rural Republican parts of Ohio are going to vote for a black man (early polling be damned, these people haven't figured out he's black yet). The mayors of Cleveland and Columbus will eat Ken Blackwell for breakfast so I don't see any of the urban minorities jumping ship to vote Republican. I predict that Ken Blackwell will go down big time, unless they figure out a way to steal another election of course.
