BUSHCO is in the corner now. With Italian reports coming out more and
more to contradict the US reports and Bush's SS plans are basically dead in the water what will BUSHCO have in store for us this week. I wouldn't be worry if it was just his SS plan crumbling but with the strong actuations of a plot to kill Sgrena(sp?) and the good chance the UN will look into the event. How will BUSHCO react this week?
2. Well, we can, of course, expect a well-timed upgrade in
terror threat levels, and I expect there will be much, much attention paid to the oil-for-food story, in order to besmirch the UN further and deflect media interest from this latest scandal.
"we didn't do it" they always give us. This is the teflon administration folks. Bush could gun down kids in a day care center and as long as his faithful believe it was for national security they're cool with him. I've already been to a couple boards that buy the whole "car was running full speed at a checkpoint" BS hook line and sinker. Essentially a lot of them think it's fine that we gunned down a left leaning reporter for a commie newspaper. With them or against them people. They'd happily gun down any of us.
8. All week, the DU boards are going to be clogged
with reports on Bush's town hall greetings.
The CM is going to make the monkey out to be Social Security's only friend in the world -- the lone advocate, fighting to better the lives of America's elders.
Killing one more innocent person will not be a scandal for these monsters. Worst case scenario: He calls it an unfortunate incident.
9. this attempted assassination of Sgrena is so far over the line
I can hardly stand it. The Italian body guards had to have US clearance to go in to get her.. We knew where she was in that car from the beginning. This outright murder and attempted murder cannot go unpunished. Someone should be held responsible (other than the grunts that were assigned to actually pull the trigger...
