<SNIP>
The government plane in which the presidents toured the disaster area had one large bedroom and another room with tables and seats, according to an interview with Bush in this week's Newsweek.

Bush, 80, said Clinton offered ahead of time to give the older former president the bedroom so he could lie flat and avoid paining his body. Clinton, 58, decided to play cards in the other room that night.

The next morning, Bush said he peeked in and saw Clinton sound asleep on the plane's floor.

"We could have switched places, each getting half a night on the bed, but he deferred to me. That was a very courteous thing, very thoughtful, and that meant a great deal to me," Bush said.<SNIP>

What a guy, helping out an elderly man like that. I'm also impressed with President Bush's remarks about President Clinton. Good for both!

4. There's NO WAY
The chimp would NEVER show respect to the elderly in such a manner. The spoiled brat that * is couldn't even let Clinton have the day of his presidential library opening w/o making a malevolent/destructive comment about a submarine coming up the river to take the place out.

And WHY do reich-wingers hate Clinton so much again ? He was a great leader, a human (so of course he had flaws), and He has class.

5. I bet that both Bushes would have been tooo
proud to actually stretch out on the floor and catch some zzz's. Too well bred to enjoy some 'floor-space'. They would have tortured themselves to stay awake, then bugged Bill halfway through the night to get the hell out of that bed. Bill?? - just a good guy. Bushies?? especially the young one - go through life like a spoiled brat.

6. Geez... a millionaire and a TRILLIONAIRE, and
they can't afford to have a bed for each of them???

The old fart was parachuting out of planes a year or so ago, but he takes a bed from a guy who had heart surgery in December.

7. Seriously, was this for a reality TV show?
Who gives a plane with oned bed to two Presidents to see what happens?

Oh, that's right, Bush's son.

8. It was probably a Learjet or a Gulfstream.
Those usually have only one bed. There isn't much else available.
