AH!!! CNN is really driving me nuts. The poor woman who was held
hostage by that Atlanta Gun man--They are picking apart her statement about what happen and second guessing it. They have a hostage expert on and everything she did he is saying was the right thing to do BUT why the hell pick apart her statement and give people doubt in their minds!

This woman should be held as a Heroine for her actions--she kept herself alive, and kept him from harming anyone else. Yet Solidad O' Brian does a segment like this....

This is why I only listen to BBC news

1. It is far easier to pick apart her statements
than to pick apart the lies that Bush and Rice and the rest of that gang tell.

She can't get anyone fired...nor is she paying anyone a tidy little sum to say "nice" things about her like BushCo does.

5. Actually picking apart the Bushco lies is much easier and entertaining.
But the corp media is just another branch of the Party these days.

2. Because they are filling air space to keep us from thinking about
what the bu$h regime is doing.
The will debate a story like this to death. This is a story made for CNN/FAUX news type people. tell, tell it again and again and then tell it some more.

3. Don't Blame You! American Media Amounts No More Than..
Would-be celebrity sweepstakes anymore..Some political leaders (and clerics) will say anything for attention while the media here would stop at nothing for a story..Scary!

You just can't trust ANYONE anymore, can you?

Is there anyone in politics or the media that YOU trust?

4. You're kidding?
I thought yesterday they were holding her up as a saint and heroine and making much of her Christianity. There was even a piece on local news last night about how she read "The Purpose Driven Life" and it somehow helped her deal with the situation.

But today they're tearing her apart?

Jeez Louise.

7. I heard over the weekend that they got a search warrant for her crib...
Why? Do they think she's actually Nichol's LOVER or something?

Trial by Media, same thing they did to Richard Jewel and Steve Hatfill...

9. Maybe their pissed that she "killed" the story
by staying alive and helping to get this man in custody. All that money they spent on a "Nation-wide Manhunt" was wasted because this do good busy body had to go and talk the suspect down from the ledge. Think how much more coverage they could have gotten if he'd shot her and continued on his way. Then, it wouldn't be just officers and officials in danger - any of us should be scared in our own homes - what a story!!

No wonder they are annoyed.

//sarcasm off of course

11. I guess they've changed their tune
Since she told them to leave her alone. Last night they were singing her praises.

One thing I cannot figure out though is how come everyone is so outraged that the Atlanta officials "allowed" a madman to kill four people and then was only able to get him after 24 hours. Yet these same people haven't held Bush responsible for "allowing" a madman to kill over 3,000 people and that suspect is still on the run.
