Sneaky way to get access-highschool US Army essay contest, prize $500
The military is no longer allowed to hang out in the student commons here at lunch, must be off in a seperate room that kids have to make an effort to get to which is great. So now they are collecting names, information and souls in trade for $500? This was in my son's High school bulletin today:

US Army essay contest - "What it Means to be an American". $500 prize, March 18 deadline. Info in the Counseling Office.

I wonder what they get in trade for the $500, access to who might sign up with the army? Souls? I'm passing this on to the TeenPeace group and see what they can come up with. Has anyone else had this offer at their school?
