11. Thinly Veiled Threats Now
"Well, hopefully when the Italians leave they will alert us (American Forces) of when and where they will be departing. I would hate for them to blow through another checkpoint like their communist windbag did."

15. Oh, and Italy Getting Their Troops Out is a GOOD Thing
Nothing bad ever happens in the world because everything is good.

People not getting blown up?
The terrorists are cowed by our success.

People getting blown up?
The terrorists are desperate because of our success.

Italy stays in Iraq.
Bush is a good "coalition" builder.

Italy leaves Iraq.
They are leaving because of all our success.

22. Attention freepers who come snooping:
Edited on Tue Mar-15-05 04:06 PM by xpat
Here are a few comments on your whining posts, since I've been banned from your site:

NTegraT whines: "So, terrorism works, I guess."
That's right, sweety, when you try to murder you allies, they get huffy. What amazing logic!

60Gunner whimpers: "Great. So the objectives that were desired by the terrorists and that spineless socialist cow were achieved, in spite of her being caught lying at every turn.

What are we supposed to learn from this?"

First you learn that she is a communist cow, not a spineless socialist cow. Be afraid, very afraid. Your CIA tried to quash them in the 50s and failed, and now they're BAAAAACK! sucker.

L98Fiero's rodomontade: To the Italians I say, "Thanks for the help, Iraq and America can handle it from here."

What it really wants to say is, "Fuckin' wops! Can't depend on them to stomp grapes. Sheesh!"

Kay: "In a way, this is good. It just proves to the world that America is one of the very few countries that is reliable and courageous. The rest are panty-waists (sp?)."

"Speechless", to plagiarize an earlier FR poster. It's panty-WASTE, which pretty well describes you. BTW, the world knows, and has known for a long time that you are just a dying empire. We spit on you.

In case you are wondering whether Berlusconi is bowing down to lick Bush's boot on this one:

"I’ve spoken about it with Tony Blair and it’s the public opinion of our countries that expects this decision,"

http://news.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=4260541

Did Berlusconi even bother to tell George what he was doing? Notice that with this snub Italy is falling in line with the EU battle against US hegemony.

10. Berlosconi finally gave into the Anti-Americans Peaceniks!
DUers are peeing in their pants over this. It's a shame that Berlosconi finally gave into the Anti-Americans Peaceniks!

Yes, I applaud Berlosconi for this, it took many, many closed door sessions and the negotiations were nearly thwarted but for a last minute appeal in the 23rd hour, the Democratic Underground Ambassador to Italy came through and I think it will be a win-win scenario for all of those involved. Methinks Freerepublic is jealous that they don't have diplomatic representation abroad. No wait, they have Condi "Kinda Sleazy" Rice... Strike that... as I was saying, they have no representation abroad.

What terrorist incident caused the Italians to pull out according to the confused thinking of this freep? Unless he/she is actually seeing the light, and sees the attack on the Italian journalist as for what it actually was.
