What's up with MSNBC's (new) "News Promise"??? New headlines every 15 min?
:wtf:

sorry all. haven't watched much cable "news" lately but just flipped over to MSRNC and saw their "teaser" (if that is the proper term)

so, with the nifty graphics and booming sounds i hear this:

"MSNBC's News Guarantee!! NEW Headlines Every 15 minutes GUARANTEED!"

ummmmmmm

so, are they just making "News Headlines" up every 15 minutes if there isn't anything breaking now?

2. the problem with cable news
is most viewers only watch for like 10 minutes, so they gear their coverage to rehash everything every few minutes. Maybe instead of having CNN headline news, they should have CNN in-depth news.

after 14 minutes or so, they'll have to lead with that new Panda baby at the Seattle Zoo.

5. So now MSNBC has become more like Headline News
and Headline News and The Weather Channel are trying to become more like MSNBC and CNN.
