AAR now has 50 stations nationwide... latest being Austin, TX

When I first started listening to AAR (Oct. 2004), there were twentysomething stations-- now they are up to 50!!

Never underestimate the power of radio-- I've read that radio is a more powerful medium for disseminating info than TV is. One reason is it's more accessible during the day and less intrusive.

I know progressive radio is helping our cause tremendously!!!

I don't know why it took so long to come to the "liberal oasis of Texas", but I'm soooooo glad. Relieved. AM radio in this town was almost non-stop right-wing crap.

that many of those aar stations are clear channel stations? you remember clear channel, the right wing station that's trying to monopolize the airwaves and contributed heavily to bushco? no doubt their politics are money not ideology.

has been running Ed Schultz in the evenings.
It's not AAR, but it sure as hell is refreshing...
