if terri had spit out a few kids with michael, neither her parents or the courts would dare to denigrate their marriage in such an offensive manner. they would not ever suggest he divorce her. michael would be giiven his proper respect as a husband, because he would have given the world a few schiavos.

these are the right to life at any cost, suffering be damned people who will destroy the Medicaid program in the blink of eye because the repukes funding them would love nothing better.

This is a little crude, but how about teenagers who become vegetables from car accidents (common in every town). Will Tom DeLay now step in and decide when to pull the plug? Will Tom DeLay decide if a girl-friend or fiance of the victim has any visitation rights? Will Rick Santorum decide if a pregnant accident victim's dead fetus can be extracted and put on display , or force it's grandparents to caress it? Will Bush create a new cabinet position to oversee the new "Death protection" department? Will Karl Rove decide who gets to come to the funerals of vegetative victims? Will minor offspring of convicted felons, doctors who have performed abortions, or gay parents have their family rights usurped by Dick Cheney? We are becoming very close to having a "Godverment."
