RNC accuses Dems of using voter intimidation in OH, WI, FL, and PA
Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 05:00 PM by BurtWorm
This came to me from the RNC:

Election after election, Democrats have cried Republican voter intimidation as one of their campaign tactics.

But like so many other Democrat <sic> claims, this falsehood is shattered by the truth.

2004 saw Democrats at their worst. From tire slashings in Wisconsin to a union thug literally breaking the arm of a Republican staffer in Florida, we have seen the true perpetrators of voter intimidation and fraud, Democrats and their allies.

With each day that goes by, more and more fraud and intimidation are uncovered.

Now, in a new report presented to the House Administration Committee, the American Center for Voting Rights uncovers and documents massive amounts of voter intimidation by Democrats and their third-party allies, as reported in numerous talk radio programs and blogs including Ankle Biting Pundits.

Check out the documented Democrat <sic> intimidation tactics at www.ac4vr.com.

Sincerely,
Mike DuHaime
RNC Political Director

Now when you go to the American Center for Voting Rights website, you see what looks like a modest, nonpartisan, nonprofit website:

The American Center for Voting Rights is a non-profit organization, which is established for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization shall not carry on any activity not permitted to be carried on by an organization exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3).
ACVR activities include voter education and outreach as well as legal defense of voters civil rights and voting rights. Included among the group’s activities will be sponsoring symposiums and conferences with prominent legal scholars, election officials and academic experts to address ways to improve the election process and increase public confidence that these processes contribute to fair and honest elections.

The American Center for Voting Rights does no support or endorse any political party or candidate.

3. I have already sent them a message via their contact form...
asking them to investigate the Mighty Texas Task Force in Franklin County OH. Everyone on DU should send them an instance of Repug tabulation fraud or intimidation.

4. This is good. Let's talk about ALL of it.
Investigate it, tally it all up.

Let all of America discuss the voting machines, all the tricks, ALL of it.

If the Rs are in on the discussion they'll finally have to drop the whole "get over it" nonsense.

"Corporate, media, governmental and religious domination is all well and good, but we should just be allowed to jail, or better yet, put to DEATH, anyone who has a dissenting opinion or vote. I mean, COME on . . . WE'RE the victims!! WHY can't anyone SEE that? Truly, our struggle NEVER ends."

And people WONDER why I hate delusional Rethugs.
