expressing how important he was to them because of his origins. Haven't seen one on US Polish people yet.

6. I saw a number interviews done in Chicago ...

in the area where Polish Americans live . This is also the area where Pope John Paul II visited during one of his visits to America . And one of the streets in the neighborhood was renamed in the Holy Father's honor . I saw a statement in person done by Senator Kennedy . All these were seen on CNN and MSNBC .

8. In LA one of the local channels

sent a camera crew to Our Lady of Bright Mount Church near downtown, which is a small Polish parish. Only problem was it was at night and no one was around to talk to. With the poor lighting, the reporter could have been anywhere. It looked like he was talking in front of a blackboard. Pathetic.

There is also the Pope John Paul II Center in Yorba Linda in Orange County which attracts a large, loyal congregation of Polish people from throughout the area. Many of those people are fairly recent Polish immigrants and would be able to provide some perspective, but our local yokel reporters couldn't be bothered to make the trip down the freeway unless they are following some moron who is leading police on a car chase.
