The Funeral of the Pope

Okay how will Bush use the funeral???, he will have the entire USA media in his corner, but how will they try to make Bush look great, a Houston paper has already said they bonded in their meetings.

I think Karl and Co are planning something and will use the Pope's death more than they used the death of Terri, this Funeral is going to be big for them.

I dont know how they are going to do it, probably some crap that Bush united the world for the pope funeral's.

Any ideas how Faux is going to play it?

1. I think Faux will focus on the Pope's deathbed conversion to the Methodist

faith, after having W show him the light. Worshiping some chick and a ghost seems so "Un-American" somehow!

As we Iowegians say. I think I will play checkers or chess instead. I think the concept of getting older and "retiring" from watching TV should be explored.

...and try to stay awake for the long, foreign service. He will hope that the photographers get a few good shots of him, that the RAI cameras in the Basilica catch his good side...and he'll use the pictures in print and media ads that target the faithful, on behalf of some element of his twisted agenda--if he can get away with it.

Problem is, as the shock wears off, the true legacy of the Pontiff will eventually start being discussed--even Faux won't be able to help themselves. Il Papa did good things, and he did ignorant things. That will start coming out soon--how long can you say the same tired crap over and over again? One good thing about 24 hour coverage over a really long haul, when they finally can't bear to hear themselves saying the same old shit, they drag in the opposing view--and people listen, just because it's different.

Before he's interred, and certainly before a new Pontiff is selected, I'll bet you will hear the other side of the coin on TV. It will be respectfully presented, but it won't be sugar coated.
