Saw about 3 minutes of the "Beltway Boyz" ..well, they look more like BELTWAY GEEZERS, last evening,,,Barnesy was just lying through his blowhole over and over....i.e, the charges against DeLay were overblown, there is a double standard about mentioning religion -why doesn't the media say anything about John kerry saying that he is a practicing Catholic, but make such a fuss when a Conservative mentions God............;

5. The Beltway Bozos - Both of Them

In my faraway youth, some media names penetrated my consciousness and my perception of them:

KONDRACKE *seemed* to be a good guy, *seemed* to be a Dem.

Liz TROTTA *seemed* to be a solid, respected journalist. After decades that she dropped out of sight, then surfaced as a Faux wingnut commentator did I Google and learned that she had been the first female war correspondent in Vietnam. Plus that she is a fundie of the RC persuasion, and that she had beefs with the network (males?).

David BRINKLEY *seemed* to be middle of the road, moderate, though "hardboiled". What a disappointment towards the end.

offering him a job on local street corner off the biz district...with my good sense and barne's greased arse, i'd make enough to retire very quickly (and fred could go to hell...re 'happy capitalism') lol

What planet is Barnes on? Or does he think we don't remember the campaign, when the Archbishop in Denver and Catholic leaders in other parts of the country were saying that they'd deny Kerry communion in their churches because he wasn't sufficiently anti-pro-choice for their taste?

I don't particularly recall Barnes being in the vanguard of voices saying that Kerry was being persecuted for his religious beliefs and practices.

"Wanker" is a good word for Barnes.
