'Daily Show' plans its DVD debut

LOS ANGELES - The Comedy Central cable network has announced that it will issue a DVD of “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” for the first time in the series’ nine-year history.

Scheduled for release in June, “Daily” will be distributed by Comedy Central Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.

The DVD will be a three-disc boxed set of Stewart’s satirical newscasts, including all episodes from the 2004 Democratic and Republican national conventions.

There are so many great stories that must be available for the masses. Jon back in 2000 pre-9/11 asking "We have to put up with 4 more years of this shit!?!"

Jon and the Daily Show crew are the biggest heroes of our time! Which to me is both wonderful and sad.

I love them and thank them for a small dose of sanity through all of this.

Something honest for the history books, a must have for those that want a rational picture of the last 5 years.
