"Kiss-up, kick down" is the foundation of Republicanism
Kick the little guy. We see it every day, in every piece of legislation, every action.

Kiss-up shows that they are nothing but cowards. They won't stand up to their lying bosses, they kiss-up instead.

Disgrace. Yet they "lead" our country.

3. We need to use that phrase every chance we get.
The Kiss Up, Kick Down Republicans. Truer words have never been typed. Heard this morning on the floor of the Senate (I think - I switch back and forth between House and Senate) while the Dems and the KUKD repugs were discussing the permanent repeal of the estate (aka "death") tax. Of course, all of the repugs were pulling out the "horrible" stories of how farm families lose everything when a love one dies (never mind the estate tax is applicable to only .3 of 1% of all taxpayers. One repug senator pulled out Aunt Lilly's music box as the only thing left after the IRS got hold of her in 1986. (hasn't the limits permanently changed since then?) Meanwhile, a Dem stood up after every repug speaker and used just a few second (the better to extend his time) and kept saying - tell the truth - .3 of 1%, doesn't effect most Americans, giving another tax break to the extremely wealthy. Then he got to talking about the "Paris Hilton tax cut." Love it.

KUKD (dare I say we pronounce it "kooked?") repugs - nice ring to it. Use it every time to send an email, letter, or make a phone call to Congress, the media, etc. Let us make that term our own. (With thanks to Ford and his testimony yesterday!)

2. Doesn't it make you feel nice and fuzzy inside?
I have noticed this. They don't like helping anybody unless it helps themselves like with Bush and his people. We've seen that. He isn't helping DeLay at all. You're only good to them for a specific purpose and then you're no good to them.

4. Some sociopaths are covetous like Hitler and Hussein and well
Edited on Wed Apr-13-05 12:36 PM by applegrove
people in the WH certainly act that way. Covetous sociopaths love to diminish their victims lives. The more pain they can imagine creating the better they feel.

Remember Uday Hussein used to get young high school girls into his compound, force them into sex, and then laugh because he imagined that the girls would then be forced into prostituion..as they were no longer pure enough to marry.

Hitler was himself obsessed with female circus performers who had a dangerous act or were hurt. The idea of 'falling' appeals a great deal to people like the covetous sociopath. Be it metaphorical or physical.. the pain is what they want. And they tend to target people who have integrity or they deem somehow better than they are by reason of ... probably anything.

Really scary.
