A rising tide of what some New Jersey residents see as vigilantism toward illegal immigrants has run into stiff resistance in the state.

United Patriots of America, a group seeking to form a movement to fight illegal immigration, complained that efforts to recruit New Jersey volunteers for a controversial civilian patrol project along the Mexican border have been thwarted by protesters in central New Jersey.

These Minutemen should take some history lessons. In case they dont know the area that they were patrolling once was a part of Mexico and before that it was inhabited by the various Indian tribes in the area who's blood flows in the people who they are trying to keep from coming across the border. I feel that these people have more right to be in this country than any white European "Minutemen" who's roots go back to another continent. They are a bunch of hypocrites as far as I am concerned. This land does not belong to them. I am a full blooded Native (Navajo) they have no right to be telling anyone who has they right to be on this land unless they are Indigenous to this continent.
