Things must be going really bad for * - rumors of Bin Laden message coming
<<SNIP>>

Where's Osama?
Bin Laden's recent silence may be good sign

(CNN) -- The rumors on several jihadist Web sites say a new message from Osama bin Laden is coming soon.

It's been almost four months since one of those videotapes or audiotapes surfaced.

There was a flurry of bin Laden messages at the end of last year. First, a videotape appeared four days before the U.S. presidential vote -- the one Sen. John Kerry cited in post-election interviews as contributing to his loss to President Bush. Two more messages appeared in December.

It seemed that bin Laden had re-emerged, at least as a propagandist, and that he was becoming increasingly brazen in getting his word out.

But now he's gone quiet, and at least one analyst says that could be good news.

1. Betcha
That dog won't hunt anymore. The reaction this time will be "Why is he still loose?", IMHO.

2. And many in the media proclaimed Bin Laden endorsed Kerry in that tape.
Despicable.

No doubt they intend to use this to shore up Bush's numbers and hope it resuscitates their attack on Social Security.

3. He is RISEN again and AGAIN and again! That guy does AMAZING things
without a kidney, doesn't he?????

Just imagine, maybe someday they'll develop a CGI image of him that's less than 4 years old!

7. Just so you know, having one kidney doesn't make you sickly.
And plus I read somewhere that was a myth about binladen.

22. um the myth IS bin laden. Before he died in Dec 2001, he had been
perilously ill from kidney disease resulting, ultimately in constant dialysis.

and Snopes says

Rumors about bin Laden suffering from kidney-related afflictions have been rampant for years. In March 2000, more than a dozen Pakistani religious students offered to donate kidneys to the leader of the al Qaeda network. That same month, a witness to a meeting among bin Laden and his people reported that the terrorist appeared weak and gaunt, coughed frequently, and seemed to become easily exhausted. He also took milk during the meeting instead of the traditional tea.

This man spoke to a doctor who accompanied bin Laden and was told the leader's ailment was related to his circulation and his blood "not being cleaned in the right way."

Around that same time, an unnamed official in the intelligence community stated bin Laden has kidney failure and "his liver is going." He said the terrorist's followers were trying to find a dialysis machine for their ailing leader. In an interview with Asiaweek, another (or possibly the same) unnamed member of the intelligence community said of bin Laden, "This man is dying."

Think about it! Bush can't possibly lose the British general election, if you follow me.

8. You knew it was coming
1) Oil going sky high
2) Jobs stagnant despite what the government says
3) SS plan essentially dead in the water
4) "Nuclear Option" filibuster debacle
5) Guckert/Gannon story possibly a smoking gun (believe it when I see it)
6) Delay in trouble
7) Poll numbers in the crapper

I give it two weeks

We have to keep to timetables here. Remember what Ritter said.

19. Most likely
If there's a will, there's a way.

Anyway, it won't matter, in the larger scheme of things. The Patriotic assholes will be so busy standing in line to buy their American Flag Bumper stickers, they won't hear a goddam word said.

Maybe he'll blame it on the threatened fillibuster of judges?

16. I second that terrifying notion.
Things look like they're starting to spin out of control for Rove and his pet monkey. When the latest Osama flick turns out to be a flop, I'm hoping they don't decide to open a new can of MIHOP on us.

26. There wont be a new Bin Laden video
Bushy doesnt need one at the moment, if the 9/11 smoking gun thing happens, or if the Gannon story gets bigger, maybe.

Its just business as normal for Bushy, when something big that is negative breaks, then Bush will haul out his favourite buddy.

28. I thought they stopped that
I thought they said they werent going to issue terror alerts anymore??

They wont use Bin Laden yet, I think maybe they were going to release one today after the final report of the lack of wmd's came out, but the media didnt really report that.

They just reported the near capture of Iraq's biggest terrorist, so they dont really need Bin laden at the moment.
